I've found my vacuum sealer extends freeze time a very long time. I don't think I've ever gone a year with anything, just because I do not really go that far ahead with frozen things. I would consider the supermarket packaging inadequate to freeze meat in.

This past weekend I was at a party where eggnog was mixed with a healthy dose of Fireball cinnamon whiskey. It was a terrific combination if you are looking for something new.
