We have a neighbor who is a snow-bird, spending his winters further south in Arizona. Each winter I keep an eye on his house. When he returned in April he presented me with a gift, a "cat figure" he had carved of Sharky. The figure was placed on bookshelf immediately behind my desk.

About a month ago, I turned to see "live Sharky" also sitting on the book case. Fortunately, my camera was at hand and I got a quick picture. Check it out. This shot was not staged - Boy Scout's honor!

Very nice! looks like Sharky gained a bit of weight since that statue was carved. :)

Actually, he's all fluff (fur, hair, etc.). He has slowly lost weight - now down to one ounce below 9 lbs. Real skinny butt. The vet has us feeding him a food, usually given after surgery, to try to get him to gain a little weight.

And it's only a little statue.
