Sorry to hear about your Katty, Rescue a new little kitty to celebrate Katty's long life.

Sharon, I am confused. Has Katty passed or are you concerned about the age? Tina turned 10 last month and I took her to the vet. She is perfect, no probs.

Sharon, sorry you had to make the tough decision for your old friend. Find another cat, one who could use human staff.

No more kittys for me. almost 20 years of a kitty litter box is enough, I might tho be tempted to find a little pup friend for Mickey!

Others disagree, but we have found through 10 doggy adoptions that two dogs are usually easier than one--being pack animals, they do like having a buddy of their own species.

sharon, my heart is so heavy for you. all of us who have/had pets know the pain that comes when they have to leave us. i look at yin and yang and i can't imagine losing either of them. i also get sad when i think of one passing and the other having to grieve etc.

katty had a wonderful life. she will always be with you in spirit
