When Bozo's was on St. Ann Street, my all time favorite hangover remedy was several portions of boiled crawfish (or shrimp, crabs, whatever). It made me crave ice cold draft beer, which chased the symptoms away.

When I was in college, I was visiting with childhood friend and her mother at their home and my friend was suffering from her first-ever hangover. I commented that hair of the dog really did help. Her mother, a recovering alcoholic for 10 years, piped up and said "Well girls, I knew that but didn't think that was the kind of motherly advice I should be giving to you."
After many years in a fraternity drinking coke and taking aspirin before turning in, I finally found an even better remedy-- "aging." That's right folks, just wait until you hit the ripe old age of, say, 55, and after 3-4 beers or two martinis, instinct will send you to bed for a good night's sleep.
I am so ashamed. Only had one hangaround in my 60 years, and it was mild enough that aspirin took care of it. Please don't tell our kids! I'd never be able to hold my head up again in the family.
Rock glass, lots of ice, chilled Zing-Zang and plenty of fresh lemon and lime. The taste is so powerful, you'd swear the vodka was in it! Pickled okra also helps!
