I was a little upset when KFC pulled their chicken pot pies off the market a few years ago. I don't like their chicken but I did like the pot pit. Well, theyyyyy'reeeee baaaaaaccckkk. Had one the other day after seeing some stupid commercial and it was as good as I remember. I don't know, I just have a thing for pot pies. Quite a bit of chicken meat in there too...quite filling. And the crust, what I bought them for to begin with, is just as good.

I love the KFC chicken pot pies, too. And like you, I have a thing for pot pies...must bring back childhood good-feelings or something.

I didn't know that it had disappeared for a while as it seemed it has always been available in Tulsa when I looked for it. I, too, like their pot pies and their crust which says a lot. I'm not a big crust fan -- would just as soon eat the filling in a regular pie and leave the crust, but I like the crust on the KFC pot pie a lot.

We use to have a KFC in Covington, but they tore it down. Nothing has ever been builded in it's place in front of WalMart.

A friend of mine today was raving about the Marie Callendar pot pies. Anyone tried them? Guess I'll have to look tomorrow.

I also like Marie Callendar pot pies. Give them a try, Rita.

I keep some in the freezer for when I don't want to cook anything or go out. They're about like KFC.

To date, there are only two pot pies we eat here - Marie Calendar's and homemade. We've been eating Marie Callendar pot pies for years. They available from Breaux Mart. I haven't seen them at Winn-Dixie. Will have to try KFC pot pies.
