'Take me out to the ball game....;' "But I don't want any Tacos!"

Second only to the games of the NFL do I like the games of the MLB. But enough about me-- for now.

Doing Louisiana proud -- and more specifically -- doing Louisiana State University quite proud, was an Houston Astro helping his Texas team mates play another cracker jack of a game: As many witnessed -- and worth re-capping -- Astro short stop Alex Bregman, who was deemed a baseball phenom while at LSU, drove in the winning run in game 5.

Now that food those "people" displayed: Somehow -- ironically perhaps? -- as celebrations began, a camera panned the outfield walls of all of the various and sundry, though quite vital sponsors who displayed their offerings. But there -- Tight there! -- the camera zeroed in on Torchy's Tacos. What the Haaaaaay!? I had been noshing on tacos, for crying out loud!

But, nah; they were not Torchy's: got an outlet a few miles from the house; but will not return, 'cause the front of the house (and I experienced this on two visits; and on the second visit, so did some other customers) needs to bring their A game to work: Service, I hold, is no game.

Oh, and speaking of games people play, I say play your games, you New Orleans Saints.

Now (Ahem, Las Vegas), as I dust off my garage sale-quality crystal ball, I' predicting the Houston Astros will win it all in 7-- and that the scores will be, yes, low and tight.

'Yeaux, Ben,' Y'awll might axe me, with all of those football-game scores these teams have put up, how can you say 'low scores and tight'?

(Y'awll will notice the extry rubs on da ball): Because pitchers, on both teams, will be rested and I suspect that We, we game-watchers we, will see artistry-in-motion via a pitchers' duel.

If I win; ooooweee occifer. I'll be a lucky dog. If'n howsomever I lose, well while I'll be doggone and long gone, I won't welch: I'll leave 'scripts coupons redeemable for tacos at, say, (Ah Manuel's: Is it dere anymore) Juan's Flying Taco/Burrito or some kinda name like that. But good tacos.

Games: I love 'Em. But, but I refuse to play when, while ever playing it straight, I'm played by some insolent server who gives me a bad pitch... Even, however, if th food is good, I won't take me and my ownself's self -- & Krewe -- out to any games
