.... Or simply looking back through rose colored lens.

Ok you ask...
"Where is aboy going with this?"

PATIENCE... Grasshopper as I pose these questions?

Was that food, that restaurant, that outing really as good as you remembers?

Your prom date at Lefants (or wherever you went)
Was it the great meal you now talk about...
Or was it the event itself?

That roast beef at Wallace and Raoul
Has it "REALLY" never been duplicated?

That $.49 cent hamburger and fries at Grant's
Was it outstanding as "I" emblish it NOW?

Now that you have tasted steak at Ruth's, Morton's or Dickie Brennen...
Could you honestly brag about the "Buck Forty Nine" on Bourbon?

Do you get my point?
We sometime go deep into the recesses of our mind to...
Embellish food that was only enhanced by the passing of the years.

All that aside, allow me to put on MY nostalgic goggles and recall...
My MOM slicing the banana ever so thin to add to my peanut butter sammich
... and my DAD's BBQ CHICKEN at City Park
(Kinda burnt a little DAD... but I remember the whole experience as GREAT)

Do us all a favor and experience " YOUR EUPHORIC REWIND***"
(***as suggested by the tiger man)

STAY HUNGRY MY FRIENDS,
aboy

Don't you mean "Euphoric rewind"? LOL!

For me, it's Western Sizzlin'. I used to love it, and go as often as I could. I still go if I am near one, but the steak isn't nearly as good as I thought it was back then. I just go for nostalgic reasons now.
