Why Ya gotta an X by Poached

aboy

I don't gotta x by poached. You do. It's the poll software showing you how you voted. I gotta x by deviled.

Y'awll and Your rewind-causing selves: Am an egg lover as mentioned circa waaaay back when. My first paycheck-paying job, was as a dishwasher in a Florida Rexall drug store. Got promoted to salads prep; then to short-order cook-in-training. It was in short order that I was taken to task as the food manager came into the kitchen and dang near cracked up side my head. "Why have two customers complained about their poached eggs. Tell me!?" Then pointing at his kitchen manager, "And you tell me, too!"

Turns out, there was a glass jar of ginger ale or Seven up or something sitting nearby. I was using the contents of the jar -- Gulp, I gulped to myself. Will I have to go back to washing dishes? -- to poach the eggs instead of vinegar.

LOL Ben! That's a good one. Glad you didn't get demoted. You might have become a SHELL of your former self!

My Sister and I were cooking something complicated one time and she accidentally poured cinnamon in the pot instead of black pepper. The 2 were in the same kind of shaker and she just grabbed the wrong one.

Wow! :o Such an omelet!

So far it looks like deviled is the winner at 55%. Lolly's rules said pick only one, but I like them all, depending on my mood.

Maybe I chose deviled because I never take the time to make them myself, but every time I see them I stuff my ownself's self, as Ben would say.
