As I type this, I'm re-winded to my first love: words. And, second: music. First-kisses aside, I fell in love with words in the sixth grade. And music -- from Guy Lombardo to Boy George to George Clinton to George Benton to, yes, The Bee Gees -- have played various and sundry roles in generating words as I mused.

Frankly, I still believe, as I dwell in an ink well, I have printer's ink running thru my bloodstream,-- though admittedly that's a bit of hyperbole.

Who was it?, The Late President Jefferson, that opined something on the like of "I'd rather have a press without government, than have a government with the press."

So, I herewith penciled, er, feathered myself in as I called upon my guiding muse, Erato, as I read these writing:

Ben, thanks for sharing.

For your reading pleasure, I highly recommend William Espy's "An Almanac of Words at Play." All his work is great fun. They may be out of print, but are still around and available, certainly on Amazon.
