I finally downloaded some pictures from my phone and this group of statues that clogs the crossroads at West Jefferson was one I really wanted to have come out. Everytime I passed it I thought it needed ,immortalized in bronze, stooped over and making the pyramid symbol with his fingers, the illustrious Dr Morgus. If I had the time and a better knowledge of Photoshop I would add him in. Why else would they leave one area empty? Somebody call Sid Noel, please.
Next time you're there, schatze, how about ya put a black hood on one'a those guys and see if people recognize him as Chopsley. If you could bend the doc with the clipboard and add a wig, he'd make a pretty good rendition of Morgus -- he's already got his hand on his hip.

I used to do a lot of monitoring in that building and those statues always creeped me out. I never walked through the circle, always bypassed them.
I'd walk around them, too, because I'm such a klutz that I'd be afraid that I'd catch my clothes on Dr. Sciatia's clipboard and drag him with me for a few feet.

He has possibilities for sure. I think they would be better all back to back in the center, Or maybe Outside where pigeons could make good use of them. You want creepy, be there alone with them very early or on a weekend morning when the place is a ghost town. I have almost walked into them because it's a major crossroads where people are actually moving while these dolts hold their ground.

Can't add a pdf to this thing, but Mawgis is into kiddie lit now. There's an article in the summer issue of Imagine Louisiana about Sid Noel's efforts as a children's fabulist. I'll send the pdf scan to anyone who would like it.
