It drives me crazy every time I hear that music they play on televised Saints games. New Orleans is not a Cajun area (although, of course, we have many Cajun families who migrated to here and we love them dearly). Why not play some great early Jazz or Dixieland?

New Orleans has/had so many great musicians, song writers, singers, and bands. It wouldn't be difficult at all to find different "theme" music for the games.

Don'tcha know we all cajuns aroun' here?

Remember the movie "The Commitments"? One of the people auditioning for the band started singing, "Elvis was a cajun...". Our hero's father, a diehard Elvis fan, strenuously disagreed.
