Joe's was supposed to continue under new ownership. If that happened I hope they kept the old recipes. The crawfish bisque (WITH stuffed heads) and crab cakes were classics!
One of the prettiest Louisiana drives I've taken is along LA 77 parallel to Bayou Grosse Tete between the town of Grosse Tete and the town, not the Parish of, Plaquemine.

I think it's wonderful when someone finds the place they want to be. I saw that look on the face of my host last night at his new camp on Lake Catherine. I hope to have that look on my face when I have a place with a mountain view.
As for the trailers, if you pull them side by side they may assume the look of a double wide and thus have more cachet.
This is the website for the Trailerpark Troubadours, and you can get to some videos from there. They are the band we went cruisin' with in Feb. Just fun goofy rock and roll. And a little bit of more serious singer-songwriter stuff.
