... (Coming up to Father's Day) For this clarification:

…I was thinking that a clarification might be necessary about a post I put up – “Scratching My Noodle About Noodles” – on the Food Forum…In posting about our son Evan on some other Fora, the posts caused some confusion/wonderment about the content…Some were pondering about my use of “semi-senior citizen” and putting up info about young son…Well, some who post here are aware of the ‘event,’ and some other friends in the GNO-area also knew of the ‘event.’

…The “event” is that just over eight years ago, Mrs. C. and I (consulting with other members of her family, particularly her mother), made the Herculean decision to rescue a baby from certain abortion…A preemie, we brought him home from the hospital and, some years later – Evan turned eight-years-old this march past – still has the family in a joyful state…What an “event” it was, as when the Family Law judge decreed the adoption, that Friday, indeed, was a “Son-day”!
