Zinnias and marigolds are about my favorite annuals. Yes, a sweet story about your sister. For many years, my parents had a climbing rose that they had rooted from my grandfather's garden. When our dad sold his house, I tried to root some cuttings, but they didn't take. It was like having a little piece of Grandpa all those years--a living memorial of sorts. I can identify with what you feel for those zinnias.

Misriv, guard your flamingo's. I read in the papar this am that someone stole 20 of them out of their yard. I think 20 may be a bit much...

My grandmother grew the prettiest Zinnia's when I was a kid, looked a lot like yours.

I love the flamingo peeking around the elephant ear! I love zinnias, too. My mama grew them and told me they were some of the easiest flowers to grow. She was right. Even I can grow them and they make beautiful cut flowers for the house.

Very pretty, Misriv & sweet of you to honor your sister this way.
I really love flowers. Flowers are nature's way of saying I love you!
