I was awake for a bathroom stop at 1:40 am this morning, so I went to my desk and switched on my computer. I was watching the little time and date in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, when it went from 1:57 to 1:58 to 1:59 to 3:00 am. :o :P

Shades of H. G. Wells! Poof! You're in the future, an hour later, having done sprung forward.

This morning my time, when I had a Skype chat with my wife in Houston last night her time, I was 9 hours ahead of her. This afternoon my time, this morning her time, for our weekend Skype chat I will be only 8 hours ahead. The schedule is not so bad on weekends, but it's going to cost her an hour of sleep on her weeknights, unless she has a nap after work.
