If anybody can give me some hints on this, I'd really appreciate it!

Hubby has a very old website which we'd like to update. Minor additions, so no sense in hiring some expensive techie, when I'm told it's relatively easy to do it yourself. I've gotten as far as obtaining the FTP files and making the revisions, but now I'm stumbling over the uploading process. Does anyone have any experience with this? Don't wanna mess up the website!

I had web space with my cable provider and I used their instructions. It was not straightforward info but I eventually got it to work.

You'll need an FTP client to upload the files back after you've made the revisions. They're relatively easy to find and use. Check download.com for some free ones. Once you upload the files, wait a few minutes and your website should be updated. Hope this helps!

I have instructions for a full diagnostic check up on your computer if anyone wants it.

Here's my hint . . . let one of those whippersnapper students of his at the univ. do it!

Those kids know so much about computers!

I'd do it for free for my teacher if I knew how.
