Okay, I have "athletic legs" so my calves don't fit in the my knee high boots without using something from the tool box.
I see a neat contraption that is made for such a task, but it's $200! I think I'd get lipo if I were going to spend that!
Has anyone had any success stretching the shaft of boots?

I remember pouring rubbing alcohol on my socks before putting on my saddle oxfords as a kid...this was supposed to have stretched the shoes. In hindsight, maybe the damn things were too small!
Seriously, does that work?

Have you given you local shoe repair shop a call? I have seen "stretch solution" there. But your best bet would be to see what the professional can do for you.

I agree with Frank. When I was a motorcycle cop I wore English riding boots and after a particularly "wet ride" my boots shrunk a little and needed to be stretched. I brought them to a shoe shop in Da Qwawtuhs (I think it was JP's family's shop) and they stretched them for me. Mmmm.....I'm thinking of Roux in boots! ;)

That shop was in the second block of Royal St. Small world.

LOL! You'll really appreciate that the reason this came up is because we're dressing like cops for our girls Galatoire's lunch NEXT Friday.

(we're going this Friday, too but we'll just be in black and orange with witch hats)
