Maybe not strictly a forum technical topic, but I fount a cute one on a forum of the on-line Bangkok Post and tried to copy it for use as an avatar here, but the beer mugs don't clink.
I remember a while back somebody was using a little .gif in an email signature of a fan jumping up and down holding a sign that said "LSU" and I couldn't copy that right either.
Always get a still image but not the other image to get the back-and-forth that makes .gif images a step better than .jpg.
What am I missing here?
Edited to add, I had to stretch the image vertically because it was only 19 pixels high, and the forum requires 20. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but I didn't mess with the old LSU .gif and it didn't work either.

Two things that may help: First, I use Irfanview and can see the animation in that program because it displays animated gifs. Be sure the program you used can show animation. Second, You can't simply edit a gif. There are programs online -Google gif editing - where you upload and resize and then get a new file that should retain animation.
